Is it worth the price? Yes
Pros? Incredibly pigmented and soft. The glitters that are in Caught in the act Courtney and Curvi Cami appear on the lid unlike a lot of eyeshadows that contain glitter which just leave the glitter all over your face.
Cons? They not easily accessible. This is not TheBalms fault, they’re a newer cosmetic brand and aren’t sold in many places (select items are sold at Sephora.com). Hopefully retailers get with the program because over all TheBalm is a great brand. These are also prone to fall out because they’re so incredibly soft, easily avoidable; apply foundation last, pat the eyeshadows onto the lid don’t buff them onto the lid or apply a heavy layer of loose powder underneath the eye and dust away.
Overall grade: B
A good pre-packaged palette for those who are new to trying colorful eyeshadows. The colors aren’t over whelmingly bright and are great for every day use.
I was waiting to get a coupon code before I posted the friends and family sale (20%) for Beauty.com but there is none. How you get the discount is you have to have a click through link which takes you to Beauty.com and when it does that it automatically puts the discount in your cart. Which I am unable to do on here.
BUT I checked out Ebates, and they have the click through link banner on the top of their site for Beauty.com. If you haven’t used Ebates before it is a cash back service so if you make an account on Ebates and click the Beauty.com banner because you shopped through Ebates you get a certain % back for whatever your total on Beauty.com is. And right now Ebates has Beauty.com on 13% cash back (the highest it’s ever been) so GO FOR IT.
Beauty.com always has free shipping over $25 so you will most likely qualify for free shipping AND they have the Naked palette and the Naked 2 palette IN STOCK these work out to be $34.80. They sell NARS, Z-Palette, OCC, It Cosmetics, Stila, Clarisonic, Deborah Lippman, and MANY MORE.
If you buy something with the sale let me know what you got! I am trying to figure out what I want to order too. I could use a few suggestions.
I had a request from someone to post what items were on the Stila sale for non-Hautelook members since only Hautelook members can see the sales. These are only a few of the items (there are 54 in total) but I thought that it would give you all a good idea of the price cut.
